Founded in 1994, Maharaja Agrasen College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. Spread across a 10-acre land at Vasundhara Enclave in Eastern Delhi, the college remains to be a centre for excellence in higher education for the last 25 years. It has been awarded the 32nd rank in the NIRF India Rankings 2018 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

It maintains a state-of-the-art campus having advanced laboratories, art studios, a computer centre, library, seminar hall and sports arenas. The college offers undergraduate programmes in Science, Commerce and Arts. The different departments of the college include Hindi, English, Political Science, Economics, Commerce, Journalism, History, Mathematics, Electronics, History, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Physics.

Some of the popular courses offered at the college are Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE), BSc Electronics, BA (Hons.) Journalism, BCom (Hons.), BSc Mathematics and Advanced Diploma in TV Programme and News Production.

Maharaja Agrasen College Admission 2021

Programmes offered at Maharaja Agrasen College are in streams including – Science, Computers & IT, Management, Mass Communication & Media, Humanities & Social Sciences as well as Commerce.

Maharaja Agrasen College offers admission as per the guidelines directed by University of Delhi for all the UG courses-

• Admission into UG merit-based courses such as BA, BSc and BCom commence in the month of May every year. This year, however, it might get delayed due to the ongoing pandemic
• After the filling of the application form and the release of cut-offs, eligible students would be required to fill in the college admission form available at the college office during the time of admission
• All the students would be required to submit several documents including class 10 examination certificate, class 10 and 12 mark sheets, character certificate, class 12 provisional certificate, ST/SC certificate, OBC certificate, transfer certificate from school along with the migration certificate (in case the student has done his/her schooling from outside Delhi) and three passport size photographs self-attested by the student
• If the student is unable to submit the requisite documents by the required date, his/her admission will automatically stand cancelled
• After the verification of the submitted documents, student is requested to pay the fee for the desired course at the Admission Office to confirm his/her admission
• Seats for SC/ST/OBC categories are reserved in all undergraduate courses as per the directive of Delhi University and Government of India (SC: 15%; ST: 7.5%; OBC: 27%)
• SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates will be given admission directly by the college on the basis of declared cut offs

Maharaja Agrasen College Admission Dates 2021

Maharaja Agrasen College will consider admission based on the merit of Class 12 this year, as declared by DU's VC. DU registrations 2021 will begin from July 15, 2021. More important dates around DU cutoff 2021 will be published here as soon as they are released by the university.
